Been getting the e-mails from NS&I when there are premium bond prize winnings since about Feb this year. Seems pretty efficient (beats waiting about 2 weeks for the postal equivalent to arrive). AIUI, the draw is done on the first working day of the month, and the notification goes out on the third working day. So for this month, that means the draw is done on Thurs 1 Sept. I didn't expect to see any news of prize-winnings until next week. However, early this morning (Sat, a non-working day, 3 Sept), the 'you have won' e-mail arrived. Not bad really, well done NS&I (but don't sit on your laurels, still plenty to be doing!)
