In 1989 I took out a Endowment with legal+General for 33,000, after consulting this group I received an offer for compensation and surrender of endowment. I took the comp. and kept the endowment and transfered the loan to HSBC. I recieved a 'red letter' warning from L+G today saying my policy is in danger of not paying off the loan. Is this correct, even though I transfered the amount, or is it just that the computer sees my endowment but not that I have transfered the loan ?
