"English and Scottish Investors" = Legal and General ?
The LloydsTSB registrars tell me that my late father had a holding of "Legal and general PLC" but I can find no share certificate in that name. What I have found is some old certificates in the name of "English and Scottish Investors".
Were "English and Scottish Investors" taken over by L+G at some time? If not, can anyone advise what they are now called?
