Anyone ever managed to get through to an intelligent life-form at FDL (Fund Distribution Ltd - the entity charged with sweeping up the ZDP mess) by phone? I get engaged all day .. 'ringback is not available on this number' .. and after hours nothing at all (doesn't even ring). That's on their 0845-606-6389 number.
[I got a postcard yesterday telling me they were still waiting for details, which I had sent them on 6/Sep .. they wouldn't even have needed the details if they could have figured out that Aberdeen Asset mgmt changed all the client reference numbers some time in 2002!].
Anyone would think they don't want to pay out ...
