firstsave account - any experiences?

Any of you had any experience of using firstsave.. I notice they subscribe to the banking protection scheme or whatever it is ...90% of the first 35k. Looks interesting at first glance. Whats the others think?...and yes I know that the 6.5% is introductory rate, but as usual I am a rate tart having been stuck with ING for too long and have today given account closure notice.

And Kevin Keegan - all their problems solved in one. The trouble is that they may well get Richard Bransom, that well known Virgin, as well.

Who is MBN or MNB anyway? The only link I can find is Magyar Nemzeti Bank, which is the Hungarian central bank.

I'm sure there is an honest Nigerian somewhere.

The MBNA Corporation was founded in the U.S. in 1982, it grew from being a regional credit card issuer to one of the largest independent credit card issuers in the world. They were bought by Bank of America Corporation in 2006. They do a lot of affinity marketing cards.
