Thinking of a fund that may include some mining comapanies or indeed a mining company direct like Rio Tinto ( i hope !)

Beware that the market has dropped back a bit recently, generally you ride the trend on the way up.

If you're after a gold biased funds, you can do much worse than the Merrill Lynch 'gold & general' or 'world gold' funds.
