Master of Science (Accounting and Finance) in London Sch of Economics

Hi! Dear all

I am posting the message on behalf of a friend in China. She graduateted with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the Peking University recently.

She heard, from a classmate who currently study in London Sch of Economics, that the job market in the City of London is extremely hot. As such, she is considering applying to the Master of Science (Accounting and Finance) in LSE in the hope of securing a job with an investment bank in the city of London.

There is a need to get a reasonably paid career in the City of London if she does enroll in LSE. The reason is that she will have to get a loan (conssisting of the tuition fee of 13500 pounds and living expenses for 9 months) in order to study in LSE.

Her question is therefore whether it is worthwhile to travel all the way from Beijing to London and "invest" in the education.

All comments are appreciated.

Well the immediate questions are whether or not she'll get a study visa, and then whether or not she'll get a work permit.
