In Glasgow, the property market is such that people are bidding 30-40% over the offers over price. However, once a valuation is carried out, roughly how much over the valuation is bidded usually? The valuation is usually over the offers over.

Short answer is whatever you think it is worth. I in the last few months have seen properties go anywhere from 10% under the valuation price to 45% over the val price. The rules have been thrown out the window and got caught in the mangle on the way I am afraid.
Just out of curiousity, Where abouts in Glasgow are we talking?
City centre.
