I have a Woolwich (Guernsey) International Sterling Account. I chose the account as it had a Gold Debit card with it and no charges for cash withdrawals here or abroad. The exchange rate for withdrawals abroad was the interbank rate. The debit card is to be withdrawn in January and replaced with a free Barclays Premier Card which will obviously not suit my needs as it has 1.5% (min 1.50) handling charge on ATM withdrawals. They are offering the perk of only debiting from the account the cost of any purchases made on the charge card until the end of the month. Does anyone know of other offshore accounts that include a debit card? Derek.
