"Opportunity" to invest in a lanbank at Abbey View

I've just had a mailshot from a company (or not)** (see below) called "Sinclair Deville" who are offering plots on a site which they've obtained near Milton Keynes.

They imply that it will be the sort of area that will get planning permission quite soon, although there's nothing from the local authority, so far. Obviously, if houses are built the value will go up, perhaps by a lot.

When planning permission is granted, although they make no claims for it, it appears that the land will be worth 10-15 times as much as they are asking.

They call the site Abbey View, it looks very enticing.

****************************************************************** It looks brilliant ... BUT

So I spent a day researching on the web. All I found is in the Public Domain! Nothing has been added to that which any investor can find.

I'd be very picky if I worried about the previous activities of the principles on of this venture, but

Search Google for "Sinclair Deville". Ignore theirr own website... lots of music and no facts, all twaddle.

But, Look at the names of the pricinples.

Then re-search Goole with their names as search arguments and oh yes they're iffy, too. Have a look at the relevant Local Authority sites (Milton Keynes etc), all have catagorical denial of any chance of planning consent.

Have a look at the sites of the local MPs and MEPs. Confirmation that there won't be planning consent and by implication these guys are chancers.

Have a look at the Guardian site.

There is even an Australian site saying what tossers they are and an Irish on too, trying to sell these sites to folks in Oz and Ireland. There's even a sad picture of a Pakisani chap who has won one of these sites in raffle in Dubai!

Oh...... If you are daft enough give these tossers your money, have a look at the "directors" one of their principals (he can't be called a director because of his iffyness) is already warned off by the DTI for bad stuff.

They claim 70% of sites sold............ poor sods

Should you want any more data ask Mr Cleeve about his previous scam selling something to do with whisky. No doubt a search for "Cleeve"and "Whisky "will find it.

So very.. very....... CAVEAT EMPTOR........... they appear to be tossers!

** "company implies a legal entity subject to the UK Companies Regulations. While they are registered they have nothing filed, although their literature claims "30 years experience".

Well done. But if you're interested, I can let you have first claim on a delightful piece of land, just right for development just south of Beirut.
