Part-time franchise

I wonder if anybody knows the franchise market and if there any opportunities to invest in a UK franchise that could be run part-time whilst holding down a regular job?

Depends on your definition of 'part time'. Also, there is nothing to stop you buying a franchise and employing someone to operate it for all or part of the time, depending on the franchise there might be several employees anyway. Also, for most franchises how much you work is up to you.
