Pathetic 4% Gas Price Reduction

I see Southern intend to drop their gas prices by 4% from 31st March.

So, we keep the high prices for winter then get a small reduction.

Most of the large utility companies have quite a complicated price structure so I am wondering if any readers have a list of the minor supply companies like ebico and utility warehouse, I know there are more.

There's Utilita - but I gave up trying to understand their T&C, and Sainsburys.

I've looked at my electricity and gas useage, and EDF works out cheapest for Electricity and Ebico works out cheapest for Gas. EDF was 2nd most expensive for Gas, and Ebico was most expensive for Electricity. I excluded Utilita and Utility Warehouse from my review because I couldn't understand them, and I consider that to be a bad thing.

When you think of the millions of people busy spending time comparing the prices of gas and electrcity etc - how on earth can this be a "good" way to run a ship. All those 1000's of man-hours wasted - on unnecessary junk.

Well it's better than them watching big brother.

What's more to the point is all the tens of thousands of people selling energy door to door by quoting tarifs which are impossible to compare, unless one had a long pencil and a lot of paper and a whole working week in which to do it.

These people are being listed by the government as being productively employed just as if they were making steel in a steelworks, or petrol in a refinery.
