Pension as Property

A colleague at work was commenting on the fact that the above was possible and I vaguely remember something about this in the budget. Are there any useful sites that he can visit for information.

You can provide an 'alternative' pension using BTL property, many are now doing this. There are some specalist boards for this. Start at:

I think that there was a change to allow domestic property to be put into a pension plan (I think it becomes available at some point in the future), it's already possible to put commercial property into a pension. You cannot put your PPR into a pension plan (and we spent some time here trying to persuade someone that it wouldn't be a good idea anyway).
