Pension question

Okay got an old pension started about 12 years ago when only a 20% tax payer. Now that I`m paying 40% how do I claim the extra 20% relief for my pension.

On your tax return. BTW, you get 22% relief at the moment, so it is an extra 18%.

You can also claim it in advance, also on your tax return, until the taxman gets tired of this and changes your tax code so that you get the whole difference as a tax relief.
