A magazine (like the Radio Times) charges a subscription of approx 1 a copy and that includes postage.
Out of interest, what price do they pay for postage on each copy?

I don't know what the RT newsstand price is, but I've noticed in the past that postal subs to magazines are often lower than shops'. The calculation is doubtless more complicated than just postage, e.g. cutting out middle men.
