Are you absolutely sure about needing to have children? I was told that if you are single, and without children you can claim this benefit. This is why I asked, because this was told to me at a job center by a business trainer! But, it still seemed not clear and not fully understood, hence why I wanted a second opinion. However, now I am even more confused. Thankyou for telling me to the best of your knowledge. Regarding Government spin, my small business advisor at the job center told me it is really seemingly a politicaly motivated benefit.
