? Re our homes

Dec 29, 2007 0 Replies

we have three homes with equity of 300K and want to sell 2 of them and buy a pub, we'd be looking at putting 300K into a freehold pub and mortgaging the pub for a further 250K. In an ideal world we'd like to keep all the houses and rent them out for income to cover the mortgages. The pub would bring us in roughly 100K a year profit, and my head says that would more than cover the mortgages we would have, any advice on which way to do this priority being retention of the houses and getting the right pub.
