Hello there... I am wondering how often people get spam mails from their banks through the normal post and letterbox. It feels like once a week for me.

If you want to stop your bank sending you unsolicited mail, just ask them nicely to stop. If you ask them to do this, they are obliged to stop and are contravening the Data Protection Act if they continue to send you unsolicited mail.
If you want to reduce unsolicited mail, think about registering for the Mail Preference Service
