The future comparison sites

In many forums users are talking about how the comparison sites have a responsebility in this credit crunch, as they only think about displaying the highest rates and promote their partnes, and do not take the security of the depositors into consideration. Do they have this obligation? Arent we responsible for making the right choises our selfes?

I'm a danish master student at Aalborg University, who has been stunned but also interested in the situation on the UK market during this cricis. Therefore I decided to tosh away my previous thesis and started on a new on this subject. I want to find out what the people think and how these comparison sites can be changed to benifit the users, not the commercial partners.

I would owe you endless thanks if you would answer this questionnaire as I don't know how to get UK respondents any other way (I cant afford to do it by mail:) It only takes 5 min to fill out and will have the greatest significance to me.
