What ever it is, it needs to be part of, or tied to, your accounting software, else you would find yourself entering data twice, once for the accounting and once for the bank rec. And that is going to double the possibilities for errors.
Either do it by hand (it's quickest for small accounts not kept on computer) or use the reconciliation in your software.
