From my observations and experience I think you are on the mark.
Think "self employment."
In Connecticut you need two years of public accounting and a masters degree to become a CPA, I am trying to psychologically prepare myself for the initail entry into the field and move on from there. Any suggestions???
Thanks Passo
I am getting my degree next year when I turn 44. I have been in various a/p positions for the past nine years, so I do have a good path to an accounting job. Have you at least worked in a/p, a/r, or payroll?
