cost accounting: your favorite sites

1. Could you please suggest me a sites (practical examples would be nice) and forums from accounting, cost and managerial accounting area.2. I read a book "Cost accounting",1999., Polimeni, Handy, Cashin. It is a good book with practical examples but it doesn't contain Activity-based Costing method. I'm wondering why ? Isn't it the part of cost accounting?

Might I suggest you check out this link:

These are training sessions for our job cost accounting. Go to the training sessions called Job Costing and review them for a good overview of how job costing is done. That will give you very practical insights into what it is and what it can do for you.
