I am a new member to this group. I've been studying accounting since two years now. I've a question to solve in which I need your help.
Critically analyse the following statement:
'There is no need to regulate financial reporting because sufficient incentives already exist in the market place for managers of companies to produce and distribute financial reports.'
I would welcome your comments in this regard. I would be very happy if you can mention the source where you answer this question from. This is my assignment.
