I have a friend who has passed 3 of the CPA sections but is having problems with the FAR - Financial Accounting and Reporting section. She is very close to passing and needs just a little extra coaching. Someone who she could ask questions about some areas she is having difficulty with or just explain what she has studied for the week and then probe her to make sure she has a solid understanding.
She lives in the San Diego area but I could see how this could work via phone and email. She is enrolled in the Becker CPA review course, so it would be a plus if you are familiar with this.
I'll be able to monitor this news group on 9/26 and then will be offline until 10/1. I sure hope someone will be able to help. I am willing to pay a reasonable hourly rate for this help.
