I'm going to start an accounting program in April. Are there any good books out there I should read to get a primer since I'm coming from a non-accounting background? Accounting for Dummies?

What type of Accounting program? There are a lot of Intro to Financial accounting text books available. If you go to amazon.com I'm sure you'll several to choose from. I'd suggest get one that is a couple of years old. It would be much cheaper & the accounting rules don't change that fast. Good luck!
