Hi. I am currently taking cost accounting at a local university. I just received a take home test from my instructor. It's 40 question multiple choice test and I need help from a CPA, retired CPA, an accountant or anybody who has knowledge of cost accounting. I'll check all the responses in detail from each and every one of you and I'll be extremely greatful if I get more than one responses so that I can compare the answers. I posted the question and possible answers in a virus free "geocities website" at

Do they offer ethics classes at your university? If so, you might want to look into it.

There may not be a "next semester".
Most of the accountants that visit this web site have gotten where they are by hard work. In school, that meant studying hard too. I don't think you will find many sympathetic accountants willing to spoon feed answers to your test questions.
Since it is a take-home test, I would suggest using your notes, work papers, and accounting text. If you have a study group, you should get together to work through the test. If that doesn't work, save your notes for next semester when you re-take the class. If all else fails, change your major to marketing.
Good luck, Russell Tuncap, CMA, CPA
