Hi, I am going to start a BBA in Accounting and Finance. Looking around in Ads for jobs the requirements is BS/BA in Accounting or Finance. I need to know if a BBA in Accounting and Finance is the same or equal to a BS or BA. Thanks...

It will depend on what you do with your knowledge-not the designation for the degree. You will have to sell yourself regardless of the letters in the degree.

I've always been under the impression that all three are the same when it comes to the accounting requirements. However, you may want to see why your university isn't offering a PPA or a masters in conjunction with the bachelors. There are fewer and fewer states left that don't require 150 hours to sit for the CPA exam. Even if you can become a CPA in your state with a bachelors, you should also consider a masters also. It would be detrimental to your career to have only a bachelors when your most of your professional peers have a graudate or professional degree.

Same thing.

BTW, you might want to read what Bowles said about "Ads" in "What Color is My Parachute," before you consider them an authoritative source.
