i have se my hrly rates in three tiers, as follows..>>
$ 100 - new/existing clients, an hour here, and hour there... $ 75 - new/existing clients / pre paid in 10 hr blocks, time billed against "retainer"... (effective as a 25% discount) $ 50 - new clients - teachers (since they have much lower income than my avg client).......
What are other accounts / tax folks charging per hour? or, do you bill "by the form"?.......I am finding myself doing more and more project/consulting work, where there are no tax forms...so I find hrly billing better...I am in the Colorado market, Northern...somewhat rual clients......45 Min drive to "the big city" Denver....So, I do not bill "big city" rates.......Do my rates seem inline? How or what are your rates set at and why?...Thanx !!!....
