Every once in a while I'll go to a web site and get an annuity quote to see how the quotes vary over time. There has been a pretty significant variance over the past few months.
This is tedious, however. You have to enter a bunch of fields on a web page.
Is there a ticker symbol I can add to finance.google.com that would follow the same trends generally as annuity quotes and act as a proxy for the chore of requesting actual quotes?

What kind of annuity quote? Company selection and annuity type will have a significant impact. Are you always looking at the same annuity with the same insurer?
I snoop around and get quotes for different types of annuities just to try to get a feel for how various factors play into it, but seeing movement over time in the same annuity from the same insurer is unnerving to me. I'm aware of advice to buy several smaller annuities over time to even out this variability. Things seem to change pretty quickly, though, and I can imagine hitting all the troughs in the waves even with multiple purchases.
