Need Help Rebuilding FAS

Dec 31, 2005 0 Replies

I get the impression that FAS has to be backed up SEPARATELY from Peachtree Company Data in PT 2006 Premium. I did not know this, so I lost the data when I reformatted my hard drive and put a new OS on it. The company data restored fine but no FAS data. :(

I have the assets calculated and posted in the general ledger thru

11/30/05. I have to reenter them all and specify the depreciation thru
11/30. I can't see where I can put this YTD figure. I see the field for it, but I can't enter it.

How can I do this without purchasing a probably useless pt support plan? I am concerned that because the classifications available in FAS are so totally different than the ones that were available in the older asset program I was using to before we upgraded this year, there will be discrepancies, so I'd like to put a ytd figure and go from there.

Thanks.
