Accounting Integration with M.O.Y.B

I want to Integrate M.O.Y.B with store operation .Is there anyone who experiences the same problem .If so please advice.

I haven't tried, but my company uses MYOB. MYOB will accept ledger journal entries as a comma delimited file. Each line in a CSV file represents one line (or split) in a transaction or journal entry. A blank line in the CSV file starts a new transaction or journal entry. Information on the type of text import MYOB takes is located in the help file (I believe) and definitely in their web knowledge base.

To Export:

  1. Set RMS's Accounting software setting to MYOB (File->Configuration->Accounting Tab).
  2. From the menu Journal->Post Closed Batches.
  3. Set the file name to export the batch info to in the text box at the bottom of the dialog box.
  4. Select the closed batches to post and click the Post button.

To Import:

  1. Open your MYOB company file.
  2. From the file menu, select Import Data->Journal Entries (I think - this is from memory)
  3. Select the file dump you exported from RMS.
  4. Step through the field mapping wizard and you're done.

Hope this helps. Make sure that you have assigned your GL Accounts in the menu Journal->Assign GL Accounts. Additionally, make sure those account numbers exists in MYOB as well.
