Add item hook

I have created a POS addin which is an advance Item Lookup program. Once an item has been found I use session.Transaction.Entries.Add to add the item to the transaction. Unfortunately this does not fire the additem hook. Does anyone know how I can the force the additem hook to fire?

I think that is not possible.. the only way is to get hooks from Register, and invoke directly.
