We're using Microsoft RMS version 1.3.0203 and we are having trouble building a sandwich type of item, where there are about 7 parts involved in selling the one item. We tried building a kit, but on the receipt the 7 items show and we want to just have one selection that automatically grabs each part instead of having to add 7 items from the database to sell one. (example: selling a roast beef sandwich--all the condiments included without having to go in and choose each condiment as an item. by choosing "1 roast beef sandwich" everything would be included) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Assembly Items: help building them

We sell aquarium setups as assemblies. As an example, we have a 20 gallon setup in several different configurations. The tank, hood and stand has a code of 20-0; we then have addons to that setup such as basic filter, gravel, and heater has a code of 20-1. Or a more advanced filter, gravel, heater, test kit, and water conditioner, has a code of 20-2. And finally the most advanced filter, and everything they need to maintain the tank has a code of 20-3. When we sell the 20 gallon setup, we first enter the code
20-0, that brings up the tank, hood, and stand. The customer then decides which filter setup he wants to go with the aquariium. we then enter that code, say 20-1. That brings up the accessories he chose to go with his aquarium. So with 2 codes we sold a Tank, hood, stand, and all the accessories the customer chose to go with it. I believe this method could be tweaked to sell your sandwiches. Craig"Community Darkrooms" wrote in message news: snipped-for-privacy@microsoft.com...
