Does anyone know what the proper way to handle bottle deposits in RMS ver 2.0? Example, Customer purchases a keg of beer and has to put a deposit on the barrel. When customer returns the barrel they receive their deposit back. Are they two seperate transactions or only one?

The way we set up our keg or bottle deposits for our liquor store customers is to create a deposit item for say $25.00, then set it as a tag along item for a keg. Then when the customer returns the keg we do a return for just that deposit.
Also, since Minnesota requires a liquor store to obtain information on a customer in order to issue them a keg we have created a customization that handles that part as well as automates the return when you return the keg in our keg registration system.
