Is there an easy way to capture customer information besides typing it in? Can we swipe the Drivers License and have the fields populated?

We developed a solution a year and a half ago that goes out and collects customer information from a listed telephone number, it wasn't designed for reselling but we are finishing up a version that can be redistributed. The database information grabs both in US and Canada listed telephone numbers and is refreshed every 90 days. If you would like more information you can contact us at sales at retail-pos.com

If your state license has a mag stripe instead of a 2 dimensional barcode (we have 2d bc in NYS that needs a special reader) check out QuickCapture on this site -

In addition to Rick's comments, you will need a mag stripe reader that reads track 3 info as most states put the info there.
Our People Pop module will retrieve and populate a customer record from a reverse phone number lookup. Your reseller should have pricing and further information.
