CCTV Camera System with RMS

Digital CCTV Security Camera System that can be connected to RMS and Kept in Time Sync with RMS.

This would allow a manager to sit at his CCTV System and Playback Events / Footage using a Simple windows Query System.

? Show me 30 Seconds of all Footage today of all RMS Voids that were made on the Cash Drawers.

? Show me 20 Seconds before and after of all Sales of Snickers PLU Today.

? Show me Video Footage all Sales made from Petrol Pump number 4 today.

I have seen a similar system created by

but currently they do not connect this system to Microsoft RMS EPOS. They Connect it to other EPOS Such As the Tolkheiim Fuel POS.

The Manager selects the Events on the CCTV Camera System that he wishes to see footage of. Then he runs the Query and the CCTV Systems goes off and comes back with the Footage. It overalls the Till Scan Transaction or Event Data that it pulls from the EPOS (RMS) over the Video Footage. The Footage plays in a Media Player Style Window with simple Video Play Fast Forward Controls from One Event to the Next Event. The BigBrother.Nl System can be expensive with the Basic Digital Recorder and Software without Cameras Costing North of ?10,000. There is another Company Out there called

who might also have a system that can be linked To RMS.

I see that RetailPro offers this type of functionality. I am unaware of an addon to RMS for this though. This is a great security tool and someone should develop it for RMS. I like the idea of tying into a system of web enabled cameras and PC harddrive storage over the CCTV/DVR Systems.
