RMS should be compatible with RS232 MSR devices for vouchers

Sep 21, 2006 2 Replies

Currently RMS bundles are being shipped with RS232 MSR devices. These work fine with Credit Cards but do not work for Gift Cards/Vouchers. A USB MSR device works with both the Credit Cards and Gift Cards. Many clients have the bundles with the RS232 MSR Device, but can only use gift cards if they are bar-coded. Many want to use the magnetic stripe for their gift cards but cannot at this time.
