decimal in quantity field

Feb 16, 2006 3 Replies

We use the parent child relationship to convert from one unit of measure to another. We have noticed some of our child products coming up with extremely long decimal entries. For example,

7.0200000000001 or 3.3100000000001.

Is there a way to set this field to round to 2 decimal places? Ideally, I'd rather do this from within RMS, as I don't know much about sql databases.

Thanks.

Ron

Ron,

Check your decimal settings for the OS.

In XP, Start | Control Panel | Regional & Language | Customize | Currency tab | Number of digits after decimal point should be 2.

This didn't seem to be the problem. The OS on all machines were already set to decimal point of 2.

Any other possibilities / suggesti> Ron,

Ron,

What version of RMS are you running? Help | About |

There was a un-descriptive fix for "RMS automatically generates adjustments for decimal quantity entries" in 1.2.0167
