Detailed Sales Report Customization

Hi,

This is my first question on this forum.

I have been using RMS for past 3 months and really want to customize/modify detailed sales report to see all data on one report and save time.

Can the detailed sales report be customized to display,

The total quantity sold per item in the given date range for each item?

It seems that detailed sales report shows mutiples of the same items that were sold in different transactions over time, I want to these # added up and shown as one number per item.

I know the above may be done in top performer report but in that report supplier, category, or department can not be displayed at the same time.
