Different Receipts for Different Tenders

Amy, I have never been able to set printers up to automatically print or not print by Tenderin RMS. We have a lot of liquor store customers and they generally do not want to issue a receipt on Cash Transactions, however they do want the receipt for Credit Card transactions. I also have a teacher supply customer who wants to print a 40 column receipt on Cash Transactions and an 80 column invoice on Charge transactions. The best I have been able to do is to set the receipt printers to ask the cashier on each transaction whether to print the receipts and the cashier must respond by clicking on Yes or No for each type receipt. A lot of extra keystrokes. This issue has been discussed many times in this group and the RMS partners's groups and it is a problem, in my opinion. We also support a competitive POS software that does allow printing or not printing by tender and choosing the correct receipt form by tender and it is a nice feature.
