does microsoft RMS integrate with .php shopping carts such as MAGE

RMS does not really integrate directly with most shopping cart software. There are some companies, such as Nitrosell, that have developed shopping carts that specifically integrate with RMS, otherwise its all about commutation from the shopping card to RMS. What you need is a software that will create a bridge between the website/shopping card and RMS. We offer such a program called RMS Web Portal. Retail Realms & New West Technologies have similar offerings.

As Ryan correctly points out, you have to have a bridge that will allow you to integrate RMS with ANY shopping cart. we have developed such a bridge that allows you to do just that. we use it for our own shopping cart - RMScart - but can be used by any other shopping cart as well. let me know if you are interested. i can send you the schema.

Palamino, if you'd like to integrate with X-cart our solution has worked with it for years. It's a PHP based shopping cart, you own it, it's open source, you can customize the code as much as you'd like and there are 100's of 3rd party modules that integrate with it.
