I have "RMS 2.0.0115 running window xp pro sp3, after I upgraded to the sp 3, Two to 3 times a day the RMS gets this Error: Run-Time error "91': object variable or with block variable not set. then when I press ok I have to restart the RMS Any info on this thanks

There is a patch available now for a known issue with RMS and XP SP3. I got a notice the other day that is should be available on Windows Update.

does that help to the 'Error 91' though??
I am not sure the patch is specific to that error. Since the problem occurred right after the upgrade to SP3 I figured it would be the first thing I would do ;)

If you use XP SP3 (or Vista SP1) you have to install that batch anyway. Don't know that it helps with the error 91, but certainly it prevents some problems with the RMS data storage.

I did some search in the net. There may be several reasons. Some are described in the RMS hotfixes descriptions.
2.0.0114: Run-time error '91' appears if you click OK or Cancel in the Add Items window while awaiting a list of items to populate in the Add Items window of a Purchase Order. 1.3.1009: Error message when you try to edit a purchase order in Microsoft Retail Management System Store Operations Manager: "Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set" . 1.3.1005: Error message when you use the "Touch Screen Keyboard" feature to select an item when the cursor is in the Quantity column in Store Operations: "Error 91". If you have version 2.0.1005, these should be fixed... Maybe a question to Microsoft support? In Google search I can find that there may be issues about VB scripts, .ocx/.dll file errors, even Excel macros... Don't know what is exactly your problem, maybe some help of reinstalling RMS.Join the Discussion
