Formula For Calculating DB Growth

I've heard there's a formula that would help you estimate the DB growth rate/size, based on the number customers, items, transactions, etc...

Anybody can point me to where I can find it?

Thanks,

Attached is an Excel file that should help get an idea of DB growth. Of course this is just an estimator and it was created back when RMS was called QuickSell.
