Where can I find a setup guide for SO G/L and Quickbooks account numbering and ID setup. Do I need an accountant for this or is there a guide for novice's.

There are instructions available in the Knowledgebase (if you are on the support plan)
Your reseller should be able to assist as well.
I always try to have the accountant/bookkeeper present when I set this up for customers. Everyone's books are different and having someone on hand who is really familiar both with accounting practices and with your specific accounts is always helpful.
