Help importing sales history

Dec 17, 2005 2 Replies

I am trying to import sales history into the Microsoft RMS data base. I have populated fields in the Transaction, the TransactionEntry, and the Batch tables, yet I can not see any sales history data through the RMS applications. Am I missing some required fields? Here are the fields I have populated:

Transaction: StoreID, TransactionNumber, BatchNumber, Time, CustomerID, CashierID, Total, Sales Tax. Transaction Entry: Cost, FullPrice, StoreID, ID, TransactionNumber, ItemID, Price, Quantity, SalesRepID, Taxable. Batch: Batch Number, OpenTime, CloseTime.

We have the RR Import Utility. RR Import Utility was developed to address the needs of two distinct users. The professional RMS reseller converting existing data from a customer that includes: a) Fix Configuration data (Items, departments, categories, etc?) b) Historical Purchase Order, Transfer-in and Transfer-out. c) Historical sales transactions, layaways, work orders and quotes Users that are importing catalogue data

- pharmacies

- shoe

- books

- etc... This product imports data to both RMS Store and HQ. The catalogue feature has an extremely user friendly interface, allowing the user to see, at a glance, new data in the catalogue and the changed data. The user can then decide what to import.

Hi Michael,

I also have a utility that imports historical sales data into the Transaction and TransactionEntry tables.
