Inventory Transfers

Store A creates a transfer order and issues the order. The order is sent VIA HQ to store B. While Store B is receiving the items they discover an error in the number of items sent. Does Store B receive and commit the correct quantity only? If so how does the correction get back to store A. Or is there another way to handle this type of situation? Thanks for any input anyone can give

Well, this is really a matter of your own procedures & policies, but: Did Store A ship more product than expected or less?

If less, was it just miscounted, or was part of the shipment lost in transit?

In general, Strore B should receive the actual quantity that showed up on their dock. This may mean that you have to do an additional transfer to fix the discrepency.
