Has anybody been able to force a log out through a COM DLL? I have tried Session.LogOut and Session.Destroy. In both cases I get "Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set" and it closes POS. Any suggestions.

New West Tech has a tool already designed that logs out the POS automatically among other things.

Thanks, but I need to do it in my DLL. Its purpose is to log the manager off after a return or void. The problem they are having is managers log in to do a refund then forget to log off, giving the cashiers manager rights.

I got it working, while I could not get any of the built in functions (Session.Logout, Session.Destroy, Gateway.LockRegister) to do what I wanted, good old SendKeys to send the F9 to secure the register worked.
