Merge Customer Query Question

I have the Merge Customer queries from KB Article 933045 saved and I use them whenever I get a duplicate customer record in my database. We've just done an audit of our customer list and identified quite a few previously unnoticed duplicate accounts.

If you've ever used these queries in a multi-store environment, you many have some idea how long it takes to merge a single customer with transactions in multiple stores...

Identify duplicate accounts Check HQ Mgr to see which store(s) have performed transactions on either account Connect to Store Ops DB #1 Open five different query windows Enter account number into three of the five Run five queries

If multiple stores are involved: Connect to Store Ops DB #2 Run five queries

Repeat as necessary.

My question: Can I combine the five queries into a single long query?

If I can do this, I can create a mail merge file and make one massive query to merge a bunch of accounts at one time.

If I have to do it manually, it's going to take hours.

Thanks, Tom
