Monthly Inventory List

Unfortunately that would require the ability to have stored snap shots of the inventory for a specific date and time and the system does not store that kind of information. Nor is there really any way of getting a historical inventory report from the system by customizing a report. The only way is you have a backup of the software for that day. Restore the backup and run reports you need.

What is the problem with just clicking on Print? We do this every month but collapse the report first to the dept level and fax it to our accountant. Isn't this what your accountant is asking for?

If you want the numbers for a prior period I guess you could run the inventory movement history report for the in-between dates and subtract that from the current EOM.

I wrote a trigger that make a copy of item.quantity when changed (only the item.quantity modified, not history ...)

It's easy to obtain the inventory list each month.. or week..

I am also looking for this same report. Historical may be difficult (I understand the easiest way is to run inventory on hand for today's date) - specifically the report I needis listing the location, category, items, qty on hand, cost, and price. This way the accountants will know how much inventory is onsite at any one time.
