new 1.3 version requires XP?

I cannot believe my eyes. The new 1.3 release of Store Operations will not run on my Windows 2000 machines. Is that right? It's buried in the release notes. Do they mean that the server must be XP or Server 2003, or each desktop? I have 22 lanes running on Windows 2000. I'll probably wait for Vista rather than buying XP licenses. Why buy Plan-A for 2006 when I won't take another upgrade until 2007?

If this is truly the case, it will hurt RMS's penetration into SMB retail.

Good luck.

MS only has extended support for W2K since June, except for critical updates.

You must obtain the 1.3 Refresh CD. I run 3 lanes all using Windows 2000.
